'Every time I see an electric bus passing by I think: hey, there goes my software!'

Cas graduated in the field of software development in 2015 and took a minor in automotive electronics. After his graduation, he started as a software engineer at Sioux Technologies. He works on various projects at the Sioux Automotive Competence Centre in Eindhoven.

Cas: 'After graduating I started looking for a job. For me, Sioux was my first choice. They offered a good salary, personal contact, an ample training budget and the possibility to work somewhat less than 40 hrs/week.'

Personal development

'I really get challenged in my work. After graduation, I thought I knew everything. This is something I reconsidered quickly. Especially in the first working years I learned a lot by following specific training courses. I like the fact that I can choose training programs myself. In addition to technical training courses, I also have followed various soft skills training courses which I find very interesting.

I have been supervising a trainee and one of my colleagues for a while. I enjoy supporting others and having a coaching role. At Sioux, I get those opportunities.'

Working on the future

'At Sioux we are working on the future of the automotive industry, using the latest software and electronics. I am very proud when I see my work in daily life. Every time I see an electric bus passing by I think: 'hey, there goes my software!'.'
