Medical technology is becoming smarter, more precise, and increasingly connected. Advanced signal processing and highly integrated embedded systems open new possibilities in diagnostics, treatment, and patient care. Turning these technologies into safe, compliant, and market-ready products, however, requires deep technical expertise, a sound system architecture, and a structured development approach.
Discover at MEDICA 2026 how Sioux combines multidisciplinary engineering with regulatory rigour to bring medical innovations from initial concept to full-scale industrialization.
Bringing technology and medical requirements together
Developing a medical device means balancing performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability. Decisions made early in development shape how effectively a system can be integrated, verified, and prepared for production.
Sioux brings together expertise in signal processing, embedded software, electronics, mechatronics, and systems engineering. By addressing technical challenges and regulatory requirements together, we develop complex systems in a lean and efficient way, while maintaining a clear path towards market readiness.
Two recent projects illustrate how this approach works in practice.
NEMO Healthcare: Non-invasive fetal monitoring
Together with NEMO Healthcare, we developed a non-invasive fetal monitoring system that combines medical precision with technical reliability.
The project brought together advanced signal processing, innovative electronics, and certified embedded software. Integrating these technologies into a coherent system required close collaboration across disciplines, with attention to both individual components and overall system performance.
The result demonstrates how specialist engineering expertise and a structured development approach can translate complex measurement technology into a practical medical solution.
Delta Life Science: Biomolecular analysis in nine months
For Delta Life Science, we developed a high-precision research platform for biomolecular analysis. A multidisciplinary approach combining mechatronics, hardware-software integration, and systems engineering enabled us to deliver the solution in just nine months.
Close coordination between disciplines was central to this development. By considering precision, control, and integration together, the team translated demanding research requirements into a working platform within a short development timeframe.
