Jana has been working at Sioux as a Project Manager since 2024. She studied Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft and went on to complete a Master’s in Precision and Microsystems Engineering (PME). Since joining Sioux, she has been part of the company’s largest project: ASML’s REMA project, a technically challenging assignment that she works on with great enthusiasm.

Within REMA, Jana is responsible for two important subprojects. ‘As a team, we’re committed to ensuring that the module will function optimally in the large scanner,’ Jana explains. The complexity of the project challenges her daily. ‘I enjoy connecting with people and working together to develop a high-quality product.’

The power of challenge and collaboration

Jana: ‘What makes my work so enjoyable is the variety. Combining two projects, the dynamics of the team, and the technical challenges ensure that I look forward to work every morning. I started modestly in a project that wasn’t yet clearly defined, but I quickly got the opportunity to grow and take on responsibility. I now lead two major components of REMA, something I’m proud of.’

‘My colleagues motivate me to do a little better every single day.’

An accessible, technical environment

‘What I value most about Sioux is the accessibility, the flat organizational structure, the drive of my colleagues, and the technical playing field. The atmosphere is open and professional, which makes me feel at ease and allows me to continue developing myself. My colleagues motivate me to improve every day, and I’m happy to support my team along the way.’

Versatility and a focus on high-tech

According to Jana, Sioux also stands out because of the variety in its projects and collaborations. ‘We work with different partners, from high-tech to medical technology. In addition to development, we also have a cleanroom and workshops for prototypes and series production. That versatility makes Sioux unique.’
