Martina Bianco has been working at Sioux since 2022, currently as a Project Leader and Service Delivery Manager within the Mathware department. Six years ago, she moved from Italy to the Netherlands to study Innovation Management at Eindhoven University of Technology.
Martina: ‘I started at Sioux as a Project and Account Manager within the Mathware department. I quickly discovered that I preferred being actively involved as a core member of the project team. As an account manager, you do work in a team, but you’re less involved during the project execution. While managing the Thermofisher Bioscience program, I was closely connected with the teams throughout the entire development process, and I enjoyed it a lot! When the opportunity as Service Delivery Manager presented itself, I couldn’t refuse. This role allows me to keep an overview of the bigger picture while still being involved in the individual projects, exactly the variety I look for in my daily work.’
Room to explore and collaborate on different projects.
‘What I enjoy the most at Sioux is working across different teams. There’s never a dull moment, each team and customer have unique challenges to face. This requires some tailoring, but you never stop learning. Also, if you want, at Sioux you’re not locked in on a single role or task. There’s room to explore what suits you best and where a person finds energy rather than losing it. That kind of flexibility and variety is hard to find elsewhere.’
‘At Sioux, the balance is just right: professional, personal, and fun.’
‘The culture at Sioux centers around its people. You can tell that there’s genuine attention for one another, no project can truly succeed without a good collaboration. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable but also focused when it needs to be. I appreciate how easy it is to connect with everyone. Even though the company is growing, the step is not too big to make. You can just grab a coffee and drop by someone’s desk. You don’t find that everywhere.’
