In more than 10 years of partnership Sioux supports WaveLight with software development, testing, documentation, configuration and manufacturing of IT systems for their laser eye systems.
Sioux was co-developer of a server for patient data management and treatment planning. The project also included the creation of operating system images, production (installation and configuration) and dispatch of the server including accessories, notebooks and industrial PCs (Simatic-Box).
Sioux also supported the approval of the software for the eye laser systems.
The quality of product manufacturing outsourced to Sioux was improved by partially automated and ISO 13485 certified manufacturing processes. The business risk was minimized. As production is on demand, costs could be saved in the field of stock keeping.
